We have an experienced design team with a strong attention to detail, meaning our clients can be assured that every project is tailored to them and can have full trust in the design and build process.
With 15+ years of experience, Sliver has prevailed in the industry, evolving, growing with it and working with numerous elite builders in and around the Calgary area in multifamily and custom residential projects. All while building a community of contractors, vendors, trades, construction specialists and Interior Design professionals that are committed to making your design project vision come alive. From concept to construction, our team will guide you and support you to create YOUR dream home.

Dustin Lattery
President (Owner)
Dustin has devoted the past 18 years of his life-transforming the manner in which residential/commercial design in Calgary is implemented. He constantly strives to empower the people around him, assisting them in becoming passionate leaders in their communities, and the workplace which is evident in his energetic team at Sliver Custom Design and Finishing. His vision for making a difference in Calgary’s residential/commercial design can be seen in his many spirited, elusive, and prudent designs throughout the city. He credits much of Sliver’s successes to the strength in his business partnership and friendship with Marco. He believes that Sliver has been able to flourish and sustain the constant challenges of economic uncertainty due to the rapport amongst clients and the individuals that make up Sliver. His personable approach is to inspire young, talented designers to not only achieve their passion in design, but also enlighten them to craft a positive experience for each client.
Marco Scheiwiller
General Manager (Owner)
Marco has been actively involved in the residential/commercial industry in Calgary for the past 18 years. Shortly after completing his MBA from the University of Calgary in 2004, he and Dustin started Sliver Custom Design & Finishing. His dedicated approach to seeing project development, from beginning to end, has been crucial in the company’s success. In order for Sliver to continually grow and be committed to our customer excellence he devotes much of his time to the accounting and financial preparation. Furthermore he finds great satisfaction in the construction of on-site millwork/cabinets with Sliver’s outstanding team of carpenters. His inspiration and enthusiasm towards his business comes from the unwavering support he receives from his wife Tamara, and 2 daughters Ava, and Alaina.
Leslie Servin
Interior Designer, BAID
Leslie is a graduate of the Mount Royal Bachelor of Applied Interior Design program with a passion for architecture, art and beautifully detailed interior spaces. Growing up in Mexico and with a background in law, she has combined her problem solving skills and her refined and eclectic sense of style to become a versatile Interior Designer. Her enthusiasm for space planning and strong client relationships are her motivation to create personalized spaces that prioritize both the functional and aesthetic aspects of the project. Her inspiration is to create unique, timeless and functional spaces that impact the lives of her clients in a positive way on a daily basis. When she’s not at the office she can be found meditating at the park, hitting art galleries, cooking new recipes or chasing sunsets with her cat from the comfort of her balcony.
Taylor McRae
Interior Designer, BID
Taylor graduated as part of the inaugural Bachelors of Interior Design Program at Mount Royal University and has been working in the industry ever since. Taylor loves that design is ever changing and that she will never stop learning, whether is about a new product or the mechanical systems of a home. She loves to stay ahead of the design trends and has a good eye for discerning what is going to be a timeless design element and what is just a fad. Taylor has a passion for residential design and enjoys the freedom of a new build and the challenge of a renovation project. When Taylor is not at Sliver, you can find her cuddling with her two cats, spending time outdoors, or at one of Calgary’s local breweries!
Stephanie Salazar
Interior Designer, BAID
With an interest in art from a young age, Stephanie honed her design skills at Mount Royal University and graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design. She is passionate about creating vibrant and functional spaces that are inspired by the clients and the way they live their lives. She believes a successful project is built on clear communication, strong teamwork and the ability to problem solve along the way. Through thoughtful research and attentional to detail, Stephanie brings her knowledge and personalized approach to each project. Outside of the office, Stephanie spends her time at the yoga studio, volunteering and outdoors alongside her husky, family and friends.
From Our Founder
As one of the owners of Sliver Custom Design I believe that our work is a reflection of the incredible individuals that make up our team. In the art of crafting spaces we are fortunate to have clients who entrust in us the responsibility to walk alongside with them in the journey of completing their unique project.
Over the past 20 years, I have been fortunate to work with many talented and passionate team members that have helped SCD evolve into a company that finds practical solutions and creates timeless and inspiring designs. Building solid relationships with our clients, builders and trade partners has been the strength that allows us to deliver results that surpass expectations. I am very grateful for these relationships and look forward to developing new alliances and welcome new experiences.
Our team of experienced designers and carpenters take utmost pride in the quality of work we deliver, we care about our clients and view every project as our own. Passion, innovation and function are key components of our work ethic and process, but most importantly, the understanding of value associated with cost. Working with SCD means you will get to be part of the design process at every step of the way, collaborating with a group of professionals that will make your design project vision come alive.
